Essential Skills & Job Duties:

- Monitor IT Infrastructure Elements & Applications, for alerts/events, through ESM (Enterprise Systems Management) tools like Kaseya, Zabbix, Nagios, etc.
- Identify the false positives
- Perform Triage & troubleshoot (fix) following the documented procedures (KB Articles)
- Create Incident Tickets for alerts/events that can't be fixed following the procedures
- Notify Clients through Paging/Email System on Site outages, Status and resolution details.
- Assist the CLIENT with resolving any network connectivity or Server Availability/performance issues or escalate to the appropriate Level-2 or 3 support groups
- Basic Knowledge of Workstations & Servers (Wintel/ UNIX/Linux, Network Devices (Hardware & OS)
- Good understand of Software Applications (MS Office Suite/Adobe/Java/JRE/Flash Players)
- Basic knowledge on Networking concepts (TCP/IP, Port Numbers, DHCP, DNS, VPN)
- Basic knowledge of Antivirus products – Symantec, McAffe, TrendMicro, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in shifts. Timeliness a key requirement
- Awareness of various performance metrics & of SLAs
- ITSM – First Contact Resolution (FCR), Reopens, Mis-route%, Knowledge Base Usage, MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution),
- CSAT (end user)
- Awareness of Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) Tools is a plus
